The monthly or quarterly newsletter is an important aspect of company publicity, whether it be to clients or internally to staff. There are many formats and styling options and we have provided most in the past.
One long term client in particular has had us re-design the format of their newsletter from scratch in order to keep it fresh and this illustrates how flexible a solid brand design can be over a period of time.
Peterevans
The peterevans newsletter has changed format a few times over the years that we have been working for them. The original incarnation (below left) was a quarterly 6 page newsletter, this publication uses an unusual format being 140mmx297mm with a cut back cover page revealing the contents bar. This newsletter design was printed in 5 colours (CMYK + Pantone) on a heavyweight silk paper stock to exceptionally high standards.
The quarterly newsletter was then redesigned to a fold out 12 page item (folding from A3 down to 120x120mm - shown below right). It was at this stage that we moved to printing on 100% recycled stock to complement the organisation's Carbon Neutral status.
The latest version (above) has seen the newsletter design develop into a two-fold A3 which encomapsses company and financial news and product information. This is also converted into an eight page flip book for digital delivery. The publication benefits from the use of quirky photographic imagery which works as a contrast to the rather more sober content.
